A Trollinger × Riesling cross developed in Württemberg in 1929. Produces aromatic, fresh whites with good acidity and floral character. At its best it resembles Riesling with a softer, fruitier edge. Widely planted in Württemberg, Pfalz, and Alto Adige.
Drink within 3-5 years, though top examples can age a decade.
