Mt. Veeder
Napa Valley
The highest and most rugged of the Mayacamas mountain AVAs, with vineyards scattered across steep, forested slopes. The thin soils and extreme terrain produce small berries and intensely flavored Cabernet Sauvignon with a wild, brambly character unlike anything from the valley floor.
The wines of Mt. Veeder are made primarily from Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and other Napa Valley varieties.
