Burgundy
Côte d’Or & Côte Chalonnaise
The only appellation in Burgundy dedicated entirely to the Aligoté grape. Bouzeron produces crisp, mineral whites with real personality, proving that there is more to Burgundy than Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Climate
The appellation benefits from a slightly cooler microclimate than nearby Chardonnay sites due to its higher elevation and exposure to cooling winds from the Saône valley. This extended growing season allows Aligoté to retain its natural acidity while developing aromatic complexity.
Terroir
The vineyards sit on Jurassic limestone bedrock overlaid with calcareous marl soils rich in fossilized marine organisms. This geological structure provides excellent drainage while allowing vine roots to penetrate deep into the limestone fissures, accessing mineral-rich water sources that contribute to the wine's distinctive minerality.
