Climate
Hot, dry Mediterranean climate with intense sunshine and minimal rainfall. The warming influence of two surrounding seas creates ideal ripening conditions, producing wines with concentrated flavors and naturally high alcohol levels.
Terroir
Predominantly limestone and clay soils with some sandy areas near the coast. The flat to gently rolling terrain, combined with the region's position between the Adriatic and Ionian seas, creates a uniform terroir that emphasizes fruit concentration and bold flavors over minerality.
