About Rosalia

The newest Burgenland DAC (2017), carved out of Mittelburgenland: a small region west of Mattersburg on the southern slopes of the Rosaliengebirge. Cooler than the surrounding Burgenland zones thanks to higher elevation and forest cover, producing leaner, fresher Blaufränkisch with bright red fruit and lower alcohols.
